The Construction Process
At Tucson Concrete Driveways, we take pride in our expertise in constructing high-quality concrete sidewalks and walkways that are both functional and visually appealing. Our process begins with careful planning and preparation, including measuring the area, clearing the site, and laying down a level and compacted base. Wooden concrete forms are placed and rebar placed. (if applicable)
Next, we pour a layer of compacted aggregate material, followed by a layer of sand or a specialized bedding material to provide a stable surface. We then pour the concrete, using specialized tools and techniques to ensure a smooth and even finish.
Sidewalks and Walkways
Our experienced crew carefully finish the surface, using a combination of quality tools to create a durable and long-lasting surface.

The Finishing Touches
Once the concrete has been poured and finished, we allow it to cure and harden according to the manufacturer’s specifications. This can take anywhere from several hours to several days, depending on the weather conditions, the mix design and the thickness of the concrete.
Once the concrete is fully cured, we apply a sealant or finish coat to protect the surface from the elements and extend its lifespan. We also install any necessary edging, such as metal or plastic edging, to create a clean and finished appearance.
Finally, we inspect the sidewalk or walkway to ensure that it meets our high standards for quality and durability. We stand behind our work and are always available to make any necessary repairs or touch-ups.
