A footing is a concrete base that supports the foundation, walls and transfers the weight of the house evenly. Placed at a depth below the frost line, and so which is the depth at which the ground freezes in the winter. Footings and foundations are very important.
To pour a footing. A trench is dug to specs around the perimeter of the house. Then compacted aggregate base material is added.
Once the concrete is set. The foundation wall can be constructed. And then we go to the next step.

Basement Type
A full basement foundation is the most common type. Because a full-height foundation wall that provides ample space for living areas, storage, and utility rooms.
